Here you will discover:
• Fort / Priory of St Nicolas overlooking the harbour entrance.
• The Tower of Arundel.
• The Grande Jetée; a huge pier.
• The Museum of the Sea and Fishing.
• La Chaume Market, which is held at the Place Maraud every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from 08:00 to 13:00 and from Tuesday to Sunday in July and August.

Only 1.5 km from the hotel lies the Wild Coast and its many coves, including the beach of Paracou. Accessible via a ferry, the Grande Plage du Remblai is a superb stretch of fine sand, 3 km long.

A promenade lined with large seaside villas dating from the 19th and 20th centuries.

The marinas, fishing and associated commerce attest to the importance of the sea in the history of the area.

Located on the Rue des Halles, this large traditional market hall is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 08:00 to 13:00 and every day from July 1st to August 31st and during school holidays.

This picturesque and fun pedestrian area is called an island but is actually nestled in the heart of the town centre, behind the Remblai, in a maze of narrow and quirky streets. Here, among the hollyhocks, the houses are decorated with mosaics made of multicoloured shells.

10 hectares of salt marshes forming part of the local heritage.
You can meet the sauniers (salt workers) of the Saline and learn all about their profession and how the salt is harvested. There are also options for boat rides and a visit to the bird observatory.

Outings in sailboats or on jet-skis from Port Olona can be arranged.

Lovers of other water sports can head for the beaches of Tanchet, Sauveterre and Remblai to learn about navigation, surfing and stand up paddle boarding.
